"Always Friends"

Hello everyone!  It sure has been a little bit since I have posted a recent card that I have made.  I was feeling pretty crafty this morning as I wanted to use my new Hero Arts stamps that I got in the mail a few days ago.  They are not new for Hero Arts, just me!  I really like them had to have them.  I loved the monkeys that came with this set and thought what a great friends card I can make with them.  Of course I used scraps that I have had from other projects. I wanted the illusion that the monkeys were climbing through the trees.  You all know I love color, so I am sure there was no surprise when I chose the lime green, bright orange, and canary yellow.  There was no doubt in my mind for this idea, just how it was going to turn out and I must say 'I love it.'  I hope you all enjoy this fun card as well and be inspired.  Take care.

Awe we both made Monkeys! I'm your newest follower and congrats on being on Shelley's DT!!!! She's AMAZING!

I seem to chalk everything. I got my chalk from Stampin Up. I usually use it to shade and make depth to my card. Often to create highlights and make my images pop.

This IS stinkin' cute! Monkeys make me smile. Maybe because I raised 4 sons and they are so similar to monkeys? :)

Thank you for all the sweet comments, I love them! Gaby...we just might have to come up with some new words. Nicole...thank you so much for the info on the chalk and I just realized we both used monkeys. Shelley...I agree with you there, boys are similar to monkeys for sure (wow 4 boys, you should be mom of the year. My sister has 4 girls and I think my brother-n-law feels he should be father of the year..haha).
