"2nd Chance GIVEAWAY"

Hello Everyone!

I was bummed when I came home to find out that the inlinkz for my challenge and giveaway was deleted for the Heartstring Design Team "Cute Critters".  I am not even sure how that could have possibly happened.  I tried creating a new link and it said that there was one already there and I don't know how to troubleshoot.  There were two entries submitted thus far and I have been thinking of what I should do.  This was my very first time using this and I am unsure about it.  So on that note...I am changing things a little bit.  Thank you for all who created "cute critter" projects and my deepest apologies for the this error and me changing the giveaway.  So to enter...scroll down!

1. Become a follower if you aren't already.
2. Leave a comment (on this post) and where I can get a hold of you.

Here is what is up for grabs...

Making Memories Mini Album
(12) 8 x 8 Pattern Paper (2 of each)
Ribbon Words (3 pack)
Textured Tape
Wire Words (6 Pack)
The entire collection

I am so sorry for this error that has occurred.  I have sent an e-mail over to inlinkz to see if they can help clear up the situation and possibly my next giveaway I can try it out again.  Thank you all, for hopefully, understanding.  Please let everyone you know to come and join in.  I would like to call this "The Second Chance Giveaway".

"Cute Critters"

Hello everybody!  It it's time to share some more fabulous works from the Heartstrings Design Team.  While this time around Shelley, will not be doing a challenge on her blog, but there is a possibility that she will have something for you on her facebook (you might want to sneak on over there to check it out...Heartstrings!  The theme this time around is "Cute Critters."  This will include anything animal that is cute, soft, cuddly, squishy, and furry if you will.  I decided to use this cute bear (I am loving bears lately)....look below...

...This cute, squishy, cuddly, furry little bear is a stamp from none other then our sponsor, 'My Heart Stamps for you.'  I just love these stamps, they are so much fun and whimsical.  I colored this bear with colored pencils and chalk very softly in a carmel and pink color.  I matted with pink cardstock and used a pop dot to stand out on the card.  As a background I used this pattern paper from 'Petals &Possibilities.'  I layered at the bottom with brown cardstock and a sentiment stamp from 'My Heart Stamps for You.'  The sentiment was stamped on white cardstock and I used chalk to color it a soft pink.  And viola, you have a really cute card with a cute critter on it.  Please don't forget to check out the rest of the design team, as they too have come up with some really great creations.

I am doing a giveaway and this is a mini album from making memories with extra inserts and a few other things which will be a grab bag surprise.

Mini Album plus insert pages
(12) 8 x 8 Pattern Paper (2 of each)

Hello everyone!  So I have done did myself in this time.  I pulled my sciatica a few afternoons ago and I could barely get around, move, let alone walk for that matter.  I was able to find a comfortable position crafting for just a little bit and then I had to give myself a rest.  But during that time I put together this really cute card that I just had to share.

So...The stamp I am featuring here is from My Heart Stamps for You (MHSFY) and it is in the the Inky Inspiration collection.  I just love her and how she is portrayed in all the stamps, they are a must see and possibly a must have.  I used colored pencils and chalk (Pebble Ink: I Kandee collection) to color her and her surroundings in!  I putting this in for the fun in the sun Challenge going on at Hearstrings Design for the BLOG HOP.  **Please don't forget to head on over there to show off your beautiful creations and win some blog candy.  Also click here if you would like to win some blog candy that I am giving away as well.**  I hope you all love this this sweet summer card I created and get inspired to create some summer projects yourself.  Take care, until next time!

"with a touch of style"

Hi all!  I have been away from crafting and really busy with lots of other things; however, I would have rather been crafting.  So today, I have been very productive and I thought I would create a layout for you all.

On that note, I am missing my family so much.  They live here, there, and everywhere.  Before both of my sisters moved away, we were like peas and carrots together and inseparable.  I came across this picture of one of my sisters, Dannette, trying on a pair of really silly bug eye glasses while shopping.  This is one of many silly things that we do when we are out shopping together.  If you want to have a good time, you now know who to go shopping with right???

Finally, I pulled some of the colors out of the picture for the color pallete used.  I don't do many one picture layouts and so this was a challenge and good one at that for me.  I mostly played around and moved the papers and picture around until I liked what I had.  So without further ado, here is this super fun layout!

"Heartstrings Design Team BLOG HOP"

Hi all!  WE ARE BLOG HOPPING!  I am super excited.  If you just hopped here from Anne, then you are right where you are supposed to be and I will be the last blog you will visit from the hop before sending you back to the beginning.  If this is your first hop stop, you might want to start at the beginning by hopping back over to Shelley.

On that note, welcome to Stinkin' Sweet Scrappin'.  I am so glad that you stopped in.  For this blog hop, I am showcasing our sponsors stamps:  My Heart Stamps 4 You in this fabulous card.  I started off with Kraft paper as the base of my card and covered it in turquoise cardstock paper then overlaid it with vellum.  I used this stinkin' cute pattern paper that has various colored dots all over (this is where I pulled my color palette from).  I then used a scalloped edge punch on a piece of white cardstock paper.  I used the same turquoise cardstock and white cardstock to matte the MHS4Y stamp.  This stamp is called Jenny.  I added some cute buttons strung with ribbon and ribbon at the very bottom in pink and brown.  Finally, I finished the entire card with my famous one-corner punch at the top right.  Just for fun, I did a hidden message "a flower blooms once."  I hope you all love it...

...Along with the Heartstrings Design Team, I am doing a GIVEAWAY...yes, a GIVEAWAY.  I hope you are all excited.  I have been entering in on so many giveaways where the kits were created using things they already had.  So I started going through all my scrapbooking things and I decided to create my own little kit.  This is a mini album kit.  Included in this kit is a 30 page mini album, several different pattern papers from the DCWV "Premier Paper Stack: The Green Stack," a set of rub-on letters, and embellishments: buttons, brads, and flower brads.  I really wanted to gather things that screamed summer time and I think I got it.  So here it is...

1. Follow my blog.
2. Leave me a comment and let me know you are following me.
3. Please leave me a way to get a hold of you if you win.
Very simple!  I will be using to pick a winner on the evening of July 18 @ 8:00pm PST.

I am so glad that you all stopped in to blog hop with us.  Below is the order of the blog hop in case you get lost.  From here, hop back over to Shelley's blog to join in on the main challenge.

I hope you all had a great time.  This will not be the last you see of us and I hope it won't be the last I see of you all.  Please don't forget to stop by our sponsors website, My Hearts Stamps for You.  I hope you all get inspired to get crafty.  Take care, till next time.

"Birthday" w/a touch of FOIL...

Hello everyone!  Wishing you all a HAPPY 4th of July.  We are swimming, BBQing, and playing some games today.  What are you all doing?

I just wanted to post this card I made using FOIL for a challenge that is going on over at Everything but the Kitchen Sink (EBTKS).  The challenge was to use foil to create a project and submit it to their blog for a chance at some blog candy.  I had a lot of fun playing with the foil (even though it was super fragile and messy).  I hope you all love and have a fabulous 4th of July.  Take care, till next time.

"Happy Birthday to YOU"

Hello all!  So I thought this weekend was going to be super BUSY...but my Hubby isn't feeling so great and the good wifey that I am, I am taking care of him.  While he is sleeping, I thought I would get some crafting done.

On that note, I am part of a card club with some of the most creative ladies that I know and every month us ladies (10 to be exact...I think) create cards to exchange once a month.  We have changed things up a little bit because I don't know about you all, but I am thinking 10 cards is a lot of paper and supplies.  So we are breaking into groups of 3 and 4, which will lessen the amount of cards we make and we will rotate groups every month.  It is so much fun to see what everyone comes up.  For this month, I was inspired by a card that Kristina Werner created and this digital stamp that I found over at Fred She said Designs (this was created by her cute and I couldn't resist).  Please check out their blogs and see where my inspiration came from.  I took the sketch and made it my own.

Finally, I am also entering this card in the "Operation Write Home: Stars and Stamps" blog.  This is an awesome blogs that supports our troops to send them blank cards to send home to their families.  It is an amazing thing what they are doing over here.  Check out their blog, they are blog touring this weekend.  I hope you all love and get inspired to get crafty yourselves.  Take care, till next time.

"Blog Candy..."

Hello everybody!  Well the Heartstrings Design Team just finished their very first challenge and giveaway.  Would like to congratulate Christine at Scrapbooking techniques, she was our first challenge winner.  Click her name to check out her beautiful creations.    I can just imagine what you all are thinking..."what does the Heartstrings Design Team have in store for us this time?"  Well...if I told you all, it wouldn't be a surprise.  However, what I can tell you is to be back here on July 7, because that is when all the fun begins.

For a teaser, along with the Heartstrings Designs, I will be doing a giveaway. I love the idea of coming up with your own kit using things you already have.  So on that is the sneak peak... will all have to wait until Wednesday to see it all.  I know I am so bad,  but you all love me anyways.  I will hopefully be creating some fun stuff this weekend (we shall see, got lots to do).  So until then, I hope you all are crafting away and being inspired to get your creative juices flowing.  Take care, till next time.
