"Wedding Project"

Hi all!  So, my brother and his wife were married just over three months ago and my gift or request by them was to scrapbook their entire wedding album!  Sounds like fun right...I mean I did my wedding album about a year ago or so (and it only took me five years...haha).  Now that I am a scrapbooking addict, I don't predict that it will take five years.  On that note, I am going to begin tackling my brothers wedding album, I am super excited; however, I am awaiting some pictures to be sent to me.  While I am waiting I am working with what I have.  The colors of their wedding were classic black and white affair.  It was stunning!!!  When I get excited about doing a project I immediately want to go out and buy buy buy...who can relate???

Boy did I buy...and I am still buying...

Therefore, I had the darnedest time finding things that were in black and white (sets that is), it became really pricey to find things individually.  Low and behold...Joann's came in and saved the day.  They were selling this beautiful set called Nocturne By: Colorbok.  (Click to check out their website, blog, and facebook page).  It is absolutely gorgeous and everything I was looking for.

On a final note, I just wanted to share one of the major projects I will be working on and I will share what I have created, once I have created!  Here are a few more pictures of things that I also bought at Joann's, on ebay, and various other places (I can't remember when I got everything at...sorry).  Thank you for letting me share some of my goodies for my brothers wedding album and I hope you find inspiration to create your own themed album, whether it be for yourself or a gift to someone else.  Take care, till next time!

Can't wait to see the album!

Awesome1 Cant wait to see the album once it is done!

What a generous undertaking! 2 years ago my daughter in law told me she wanted me to scrapbook her 1.5 year mission in Brazil, which I agreed to and have not even started on. She forgets to get me the pictures and I conveniently forget to remind her. Terrible of me, I know! I am not a very good scrapbooker though, as I have complained about numerous times!
