Hi everyone! Can you believe it is August already, where has the first half of this disappeared to...it went by to quickly right? Summer is almost gone and thank goodness for that...summers out here are brutal. Speaking of summer, I got this super cute paper in the mail from Echo Park called "A Walk in the Park." I LOVE THIS PAPER. I created this cute layout based on a sketch I saw in a magazine and I can't recall the magazine for the life of me (when I do, I shall let you all know). The diva in this picture happens to be one of my nieces. She loves to have fun and is so photogenic that I couldn't resist to scrap this playful picture of her. Without further ado...

***In case anyone wasn't sure how to make the pinwheel, I have***
taken some pictures and will add directions as well.
1. Cut paper 3 x 3 inches
2. Fold the paper on the diagonal in both directions (use a bone folder if the paper is heavy)
3. Use a pair of scissors and cut 3/4 of the way down on each of the creases.
4. Fold ever other corner into the center of the square and use a glue dot or whatever adhesive you have to hold the paper down.
5. For a final touch and to securely hold the paper in place, use a button, brad, or flower.
I hope that you all have enjoyed the layout and really cute technique with the pinwheel. I hope this will inspire many of you to get craft today. Take care, till next time!
P.S. Don't forget that I still have the giveaway going on. Please leave a comment on this post by August 8 @ 8:00pm PST. I will be picking a winner at that time. Click here to go directly to the giveaway post!
