"Skinny Jeans*"

Hello again everyone!  Today has been awesome, very peaceful and relaxing doing what I love to do.  I spent the later part of the afternoon creating this layout page.  This wasn't from a sketch, just played around and moved things around and came up with what I liked.  Again, as always, there is scrap paper in here, no stamping this time around, chip board letters, some ribbon and what have you.  I just love this picture of my niece wearing her toddler skinny jeans.  I hope you all enjoy and get inspired. Take care, till next time!

"40 is the new 30"

Happy Friday everyone!  Today I was feeling crafty and I had an idea in my head and though to myself "if I don't go to it, I am going to forget all about it."  On that note, my sisters 40th...oops I mean 30th (Shhh, don't tell anyone I let the cat out of the bag! Haha) is coming up here really soon and I wanted to make her a fun and special card.  I used, again, just some random scrap pieces that I had left over from other cards, I cut the numbers out using the Lyrical Letters Cricut Cartridge, and I added a touch of my own personal writing (which by the way I don't normally do, but I liked it this time around).  I hope you all enjoy and get inspired to get crafty yourselves.  Take care, till next time!

"Another One-Layer Design"

Hiya everyone!  I am fascinated with the one-layer design of a card and I really like masking off things (a new favorite thing).  I came up with this card, it may be a bit sappy for some, but I love it.  I just used a few different stamps at random from different collections and I created my own background stamping techniques (of course inspired by others) and this is what I came up with.  I hope you all like it and get inspired from this to come up with something of your own.

"Kwernerdesign" Challenge!

Hi everyone! Sorry I haven't been on in a while. I have been consumed with everyday life unfortunately. On the flip side, I thought I would post the challenge that Kristina Werner has going on. Her challenge is to make a one-layer card. I did this one this morning and wasn't sure where I was going with it. After much needed practice, I think I got the final look I was going for. A very simple card, I used masking and stamps. I don't usually do one-layer cards so forgive me if this isn't super quality work...hehe! I hope you like you and get inspired to create one of you own. Please feel free to check out Kristina Werner's blog (she is amazing and inspiring).

"Just Because"

Hi everyone! Today I was feeling creative and thought I would make a simple card using my Cricut. It took me a little while to make this card because I loved the little birdie from my Lyrical cartridge and then I didn't know what to do with it after that. I was going to print out the tree branch and decided to make grass. It came out super stinkin' cute. I hope you like it and enjoy!

"My Pink Stamper" Challenge!

Hello everyone! Woke up this morning to an awesome challenge on one of my favorite blogs that I follow called "My Pink Stamper!" The challenge was to use my Cricut machine and include the following colors: pink, black, and green. I came up with something very simple using the Cricut Stamping Solutions cartridge and of course pieces of scrap paper that I had left over from other projects. Let me know what you think and enjoy!

WeLcOmE!

Hello everyone! I am new to all of this and at the same time I am eager to get things moving right along. I am within great hopes to have some stuff posted sometime over the weekend. A little food for thought to keep your minds busy of what to look forward to. . .All of my creations are very eclectic. I use random pieces from all sources and so I will apologize in advance if I am not sure where I got the paper, embellishments, inks, stamps, beads, findings, etc. from. I am a super saver and love to find random things from all over the place. If it is on sale or clearance I am all over it. I will do my very best. I love to come up with my own creations or take someone's inspiration and make it my own. If this is the case, I promise to share with you where my inspiration came from. That is a little insight for now and I will share more later. I hope you find my creations Stinkin' Sweet and I can't wait to see your Stinkin' Sweet creations as well. Take care!
